The core driver to pursue what the heart seeks. Courage is not the absence of fear, but the determination to act despite it. It pushes boundaries, challenges the status quo, and turns ambitious visions into reality.
The ability to overcome difficult situations in life and business. Resilience is the art of bending without breaking, of learning from setbacks and emerging stronger. It turns obstacles into stepping stones and failures into wisdom.
Loving kindness, courage and resilience are some of my favourite words. These words have such a deep meaning in my life that they help me to become a better person and a better inhabitant of this planet.
I believe that loving kindness allows us to respect each other and to be humble in our achievements. Courage is the core to pursue what our heart seeks. Resilience allows us to overcome the difficult situations in our lives and businesses.
In a nutshell, Kiflay spent his childhood in different countries, cultures and continents. This shaped his future to become an engineer, strategist, explorer and innovator.
As a young child, Kiflay grew up in a small highlands town on the African continent. Later on, he experienced what it meant to be a refugee and adapt to a new culture, in Switzerland.
During this time, Kiflay never let go of his childhood dreams and graduated as an engineer in 2018 in Switzerland. He then decided to expand his knowledge and oriented himself towards innovation, strategy, business and leadership as a consultant for prestigious Swiss-based consultancy companies.
During his career as a consultant, Kiflay worked for Start-ups, small and medium-size enterprises as well as international corporations as well as the Swiss government in various fields.
Kiflay's life and career have provided the perfect experimental playground to develop his entrepreneurial and leadership skills. Kiflay thrives on working with people and allowing them to meet any challenge.
Kiflay believes that reality is more fascinating than one’s dream, as long as we work courageously toward our dreams. To him, being a pioneer means reinventing yourself and the world for the better through relentless determination.
Realising that personal wisdom and professional maturity are endless, he spent almost a year backpacking through different cultures and continents and is currently pursuing his EMBA in “Harnessing Innovation” at EPFL.
